While some keep and collect action figures as a hobby or an investment and others have them as toys and keepsakes there’s a few very basic tips you should know to help care for them and make them last longer so you can get more enjoyment or a better return on your investment from them.

If your action figure comes with batteries make sure you remove them before you put your figure into storage, batteries can leak and therefore ruin your figure.

You can keep them clean by dusting them (and making sure your hands are free from dirt)

If you plan to use your classic action figures as an investment it’s best to keep handling to minimum (and if possible maintain the packaging) or use gloves if you need to touch them in anyway.

That’s only the very basics - if you plan to collect your figures as in investment it’s wise to research other ways to keep them in the best possible condition.

Of course if you collect them for toys - have fun.
